The perfect choice for a modern trail rider. Marin's San Quentin hard tail range of bikes and frames draw influence from Marin's dirt jump bikes, with input from Matt Jones. The resulting bikes are fun to ride, with head angles that provide stability on rough trails with the direct, connected feeling you only get with a hardtail.
Wheel sizes grown with frame sizes; 27.5 wheels for small and medium, or 29" for medium, large, and XL.
Top of the San Quentin range, the SQ3 has a Marzocchi fork and a dependable Shimano Deore 12 speed drivetrain.
Internal routing make for clean looks, and the frame also features ISCG05 chainguide tabs; adding a guide makes a big difference to chain retention when you've no rear suspension on rougher trails.
Featuring a slack head tube angle and a steep seat tube angle for an efficient, balanced ride that can smoothly climb, then tackle aggressive trails. The SQ 29" bike is a blend of the dirt jump heritage of the original San Quentin with the faster roll over of 29" wheels.
